Four Things on Friday

An Interesting
Article/Podcast
Cal Newport is a computer science professor at Georgetown
University. He spends a lot of time studying the intersection of technology and
society. He has no Facebook, no Twitter, no Instagram. He does not consider

doubts the return on the immense investment of time people spend with them. In
this article he considers some of the traditional religious habits of
stillness, thought, and prayer in the context of the life of Martin Luther King
Jr. and our socially connected society.
