A Poem - Beginning Invocation

In the beginning
God spoke,
And there was.
In the beginning;
The Word
Light and Life.
In the beginning
The Spirit
Hovers over.
In the beginning;
Triune.
Love burst forth
In the beginning
Creating
Heavens and earth,
Day and night,
Sea and land.
In the beginning
God spoke
A start for me
Jesus' heart for me
The Spirit's life for me;
Creation,
Redemption,
Sanctification;
In the beginning.
God made
My beginning
So I pray
As He began
He will finish.
For Christ's sake,
Finish me.
Let Your
Love burst forth,
In the beginning,
In the midst,
In the End.
Father,
Son and
Holy Spirit.
