Good Morning, Lord!
I Am Baptized
You were
washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus
Christ and by the Spirit of our God. – 1 Corinthians 6:11
Make the
sign of the cross as you say, “In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and
of the Holy Spirit. Amen.”
A Morning Prayer
Almighty
and ever-living God, You make us both to will and to do those things that are
good and acceptable in Your sight. Let Your fatherly hand ever guide us and
Your Holy Spirit ever be with us to direct us in the knowledge and obedience of
Your Word that we may obtain everlasting life; through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Amen.[1]
I Believe …
You shall
have no other gods.
You shall
not misuse the name of the LORD your God.
Remember
the Sabbath Day by keeping it holy.
Honor your
father and mother.
You shall
not murder.
You shall
not commit adultery.
You shall
not steal.
You shall
not give false testimony against your neighbor.
You shall
not covet your neighbor’s house.
You shall
not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or
donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.
