Good Morning, Lord!
I Am Baptized
In one Spirit we were all
baptized into one body – 1 Corinthians 12:13
Make the sign of the cross as
you say, “In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.”
A Morning Prayer
Almighty God, Father of all
mercies, we, your unworthy servants, give you most humble and hearty thanks for
all your goodness and loving kindness to us, and to all people. We bless you
for our creation, preservation, and all the blessings of this life; but above
all, for your inestimable love in the redemption of the world by our Lord Jesus
Christ; for the means of grace, and for the hope of glory. And, we ask you,
give us a clear sense of all your mercies, that our hearts may be truly
thankful; and that we show forth your praise, not only with our lips, but in
our lives, by giving up ourselves to your service, and by walking before you in
holiness and righteousness all our days; through Jesus Christ our Lord, to
whom, with you and the Holy Spirit, be all honor and glory, world without end.
Amen.[1]
I Believe …
I believe in God, the Father
Almighty, maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ, His only
Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the
virgin Mary, suffered under
Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He
descended into hell. The third
day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven
and sits at the right hand of
God the Father Almighty. From thence He will come to judge
the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the
forgiveness of sins, the
resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
23 The Lord is my
shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in
green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth
me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the
valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy
rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me
in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup
runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall
follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of
the Lord for ever.

Our Father who art in heaven,

Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done on earth
as it is in heaven;
give us this day our daily
bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those
who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom
and the power and the glory
forever and ever. Amen.
Benediction
Now may the God of peace who
brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by
the blood of the eternal covenant, 21 equip you with everything good
that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight,
through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. (Heb. 13:20-21
